This school was opened in 1911 with thirteen pupils. These were students considered "troublesome boys." The school provided scholastic and manual training. It also gave a calisthenics course and administered physical examinations to determine if any health problems were the sources of student difficulties. A teacher's reminiscence also reported efforts to provide moral education.
