The first record of the school is noted in the 1876-77 school year.  A new building was opened in 1912 on two acres of land purchased from K. S. S. Mills.  Another new building succeeded the previous school in 1923.  In 1941 the school was consolidated with Fern Creek Elementary.  The Seatonville School building and property was sold at auction in 1942 to P. N. Squires.
