Rice-Audubon is a state-operated treatment center for juveniles.  JCPS provides high school classes for the center.  The center was located on the former campus of the Kentucky Children's Home orphanage in Lyndon.  The Louisville Day Treatment Center is located on the same campus.  In 2004 Rice-Audubon was combined with the Cardinal Treatment Center to create the Audubon Youth Development Center in the former Rice-Audubon facility.
