Spring Garden School's original address was Preston and Rawlings Streets.  In 1898 the school moved to Hess Lane and Preston Street Road.  Its building received an addition in 1913.  The school was consolidated with Prestonia Elementary into a new school called Prestonia in 1928.  Spring Garden continued to offer the first three grades until 1927.  The property was sold at auction in 1928.  Audubon Elementary was later built on the approximate site of the Spring Garden School.
