The school existed in several different one- and two-room buildings.  The school was succeeded by the Okolona School.  An earlier address may have been "seven miles from City of Louisville and Shepherdsville Turnpike Road."  Its last location was sold in 1924 to G. S. Griffith.  In later years the building became the Hair Care Barber Shop at 7409 Preston Highway.
