The Lyndon Vocational School succeeded Lyndon Elementary in that school building in 1976.  Later named the Lyndon Vocational/Technical School, it closed in 1992.  As of 1995, Jefferson County High School occupied part of the Lyndon facility.  After the vocational school closed, the facility became the Lyndon Education Center.  The center was renamed Jaeger Education Center in honor of educator Mary Grace Jaeger in 2002.
