Official Name: Lowe Elementary School
Year Opened: 1974
Lowe Elementary in the Hurstbourne neighborhood succeeded Lyndon Elementary in 1974. Lowe was named for longtime Lyndon principal John Lowe. The school was originally designed for a flexible school concept. In 1978 it was renovated so a more structured instructional program could be implemented. The school won an architectural award for its design.
As of February 2021, the Archives has no yearbooks from Lowe Elementary School.
