Official Name: Klondike Elementary School
Year Opened: 1971
Klondike Lane opened in 1971 as a replacement for Melbourne Heights Elementary School, which closed the same year. Melbourne's principal, Warren McCaulley, and some of the faculty transferred to the new school. Some students were also reassigned from Hikes Elementary.
