In August 2014 the Valley Preparatory Academy opened in Valley High School, educating seventh and eighth grade students transferred from Frost Middle School when it became the Robert Frost Sixth-Grade Academy.  The school closed at the end of the 2016-2017 school year and students were transferred to Stuart Academy.
