Apparently both city and county schools offered classes at various times at the Waverly Hills Sanitorium, which treated tuberculosis patients.  County classes began in 1915.  The Louisville city schools also offered classes in 1939.  Two classes were established so that black and white children would be segregated.  These classes ceased around 1941.  Two ungraded classes were offered again in 1950.  Three were offered in 1951.
