The school was located in the neighborhood of the same name on River Road and was a "colored" school. The school moved to a house rented from Edward Weigel in 1916. In 1923 black students from Audubon Park traveled via the city railway to attend the Point School. Their car fare was paid by the county school board. This school was succeeded by the Harrison Kennedy School.
