Official Name: Meyzeek Middle School

Year Opened: 1967

In 1967 Jackson Junior High was renamed Meyzeek Junior High in honor of local educator Albert E. Meyzeek. All junior high schools became middle schools in 1977. The school once included an Occupational Training Center.
