Official Name: Farnsley Middle School
Year Opened: 1998
The district constructed a new school at Cane Run Road and Lees Lane to succeed Williams Middle School. This new school became Farnsley Middle School. The school opened in 1998 and was named for David Farnsley, an early settler in the area. Farnsley is adjacent to a historic house called the Farnsley-Kaufman House and Farnsley students participated in an archaeological dig at the house's site.
