Official Name: Westport Middle School 

Year Opened: 1981

Westport Middle School formerly served as Westport High School and became a middle school in 1981. The school features an expanded library which also operates as a branch of the Louisville Free Public Library. The school, which bore the name Westport Tradiitional Middle School and Fine Arts Academy for several years, was renamed Westport Middle School in April 2009.
