In November 1995 The Brook—KMI began as a JCPS on-site school at The Brook Hospital. The school serves emotionally disturbed, neglected and . situationally deprived students, ages 12-18. The student body consists of hospitalized patients as well as partial hospital (PHP) who may live at home but return to the hospital during the day. The Brook—KMI offers other treatment programs, which include individual and group therapy, outpatient groups, family therapy, and recreational activities.
