Official Name: Pleasure Ridge Park or PRP High School

Pleasure Ridge Park High School (known as PRP) is named for the suburb in which it is located, near Dixie Highway. Thirty-eight acres were purchased for the school in 1957 and construction began in 1958. PRP opened in the fall of 1958. Double sessions were offered from 1965 to 1967 when the student population peaked.
