All students and families can visit bit.ly/capstonesummer23 to access a 12-week long fun summer learning and reading adventure with our friends at Capstone.
Take the Summer Reading Challenge and see how many books you can read this summer! Go to their summer reading page to find the list. While visiting this site you can find some great summer book suggestions, book discussion guides if you want to form your own summer book club, and listen to some authors talk about their books.
The Summer Reading adventure begins June 1st! Free to all youth, newborns through 12th graders. The Louisville Free Public Library's annual 10-week summer reading program encourages children and teens to read for fun over the summer and helps them avoid summer learning loss. You can register online or by downloading the Beanstack Tracker app.
The Lowe PTA is hosting a Reading Incentive this summer! Just read either 2 chapter books or 5 grade level books. Then ask a teacher or a parent to sign your bookmark verifying you read your books. Bring the bookmark to the Drive-In for a free ticket. Bookmarks were handed to students by their classroom teacher. Please contact the PTA if you have any questions.
Record your reading for two weeks and return your calendar for 10 free play points or tokens as a reward. Calendar is also available in Spanish from their website.
