BPL - Big Picture Learning

ILP - Individual Learning Plan

LTI - Learning Through Internship

Advisor - Person responsible for guiding an Advisory group. They facilitate each student's Learning Plan and LTI in the group.

Advisory - Smaller group of students (12-16) and an Advisor, where students are actively invested in their learning, are challenged to pursue their interests and are supported by a community of educators, peers, professionals, and family members. This is the student's "home base" at the school and they stay with the same group and Advisor for 2-4 years.

Exhibition - Students present their work and learning at the end of each quarter to a panel that includes their parents, advisor, mentor, peers, and others.

Leaving to Learn - Relocating learning to immersive, community-based environments, where authentic real-world learning is deeply intertwined with knowledge acquisition.

Mentor - Adult guide at the workplace who becomes part of the student's Learning Plan team.
