Eastern High School Library: Hour of AI

After over a decade of success with Hour of Code, CS for All is launching Hour of AI to engage students in hands-on learning experiences, changing them from passive consumers of AI to confident creators.

By creating their own songs using coding concepts like sequencing and decomposition, and configuring an AI Beat Block, students will learn foundational computer science concepts. They will also be introduced to careers that intersect with tech and music through inspiring career spotlights from professionals in the industry, including at Amazon Music.

Explore different AI biases, training data, hallucinations, data outliers, and AI-generated deepfakes to complete the mission. 

Learn about artificial intelligence (AI) concepts to create your own virtual dance party showcasing today's top artists. With dozens of songs to choose from, reach every student no matter their music taste. It's time to strut your stuff!

In “Create Your Dream Product,” you will brainstorm an original product idea, design its logo or ad using Adobe Express, and use generative AI to visualize how it looks and works—encouraging creativity, innovation, and ideas.

AI Quests is a gamified, in-class learning experience, which allows students to step into the shoes of Google researchers using AI to solve real-world challenges.
