35 Book Challenge Rules

50 Book Challenge 2020-2021

The Challenge

Read 50 books by May 15, 2021.
To keep track of what you’ve read, use the form Mrs. Weber has provided.  Teachers can Tweet about the books you’re reading using #50BookChallenge.

The Rules

  1. Pick out a book.  Try to find a variety of books to read throughout the year.
  2. Keep track of your books. Fill out a form on the Goldsmith Library Libguide to prove you’ve read the book, or create a "Reading Journal" of your choosing.
  3. Read, read, read!  Use your agenda to record books you have finished!

The Books
Decide what you want to read, and read it (novels, short stories, non-fiction, graphic novels, biographies). You can make a list of the books you want to read before you start or you can choose books as you go along.

You can also…

  • Write a book review.
  • Compare and contrast the movie and book.

Students and teachers will be selected to share what they are reading on the Goldsmith News Morning Telecast!

The contest runs from August 25, 2020 to May 17, 2021.  Exciting events, activities and recognition will happen for kids and adults who meet the challenge!!!

Challenge yourself to read 20 minutes a night!

Anyone in the building can participate!!!
