Franklin Transitional High School opened as an alternative school program in the building formerly home to Franklin Elementary.  The Board planned to use this building for a short time until a more suitable facility could be identified.  The school moved to the former Breckinridge Elementary School when programs located there returned to the renovated DuValle Education Center.  The relocated school became Breckinridge Metropolitan School.
