The Central Kentucky Treatment Center was a juvenile detention center of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.  The center opened circa 1950.  For many years it was known as the Kentucky State Reception Center.  Its name was changed to the Central Kentucky Treatment Center in 1979.  Schooling was provided to juveniles there by JCPS.  Following the center's closing, the building was demolished by the city of Lyndon so the site could be converted to a park.
